Last Minute Gift Guide: Travel Edition
If you are anything like me, you have an almost alarming need to procrastinate. Why do we always do this you may ask? Who knows, maybe we like the rush to finish in time or maybe because it’s just something we don’t want to do it at all. Either way, we know we gotta get it done and QUICK!
This year, in the midst of using the pandemic as an excuse to procrastinate and avoid stores, I found myself running to the store the week of Christmas because most the online shipping ETAs came after Christmas (oops- maybe I procrastinated a little too much this time)! The thing is, I was definitely not the only one rushing around getting my Christmas shopping done, the stores were packed! This gave me the idea to help out my fellow procrastinators and share this awesome last minute gift guide for any travel lovers you’re shopping for! Most of these items can be found in popular department stores, on Amazon Prime, or can be printed out. 😉
The essentials
Portable solar powered phone charger
If the traveler you are shopping for doesn’t have a portable power bank, then you have just found the perfect gift! Coming from someone who has been caught one too many times with a dead phone while traveling, a power bank is a must!!
Journal or planner
A journal is a great last minute gift that you can pick up from almost anywhere! It’s also a great gift for them to keep all of their travel memories in.
Cruelty-free hand sanitizer
Now this one you cant go wrong with! Especially in todays world, everyone could use some more pocket hand sanitizer. My favorite is from Bath and Body Works – they are cruelty free and they smell so good!
High quality mask
A high quality mask that makes you feel safe and protected in also a must! My favorite masks are Lunair Wellness masks, I love that they use FUZE technology which helps prevent mask acne.
Silk eye mask
There is no doubt that travel can get exhausting. Give them the gift of getting a little shut-eye on the plane!
Packing cubes
Packing cubes are great for staying organized while traveling. They are especially good on long trips to prevent their suitcase from looking like a hurricane just ran through it!
Weather-proof backpack
We can’t predict the weather but we can make sure our bag is weather-proof! A weather-proof backpack is great for any outdoor explorer you know!
Help them plan their next trip!
Airbnb gift card
Help them find a unique stay with Airbnb.
A plane ticket
Sometimes you have to make the first move, book their flight to give them the vacation they deserve.
Voucher to an experience
Book them a fun day adventure or something you can do together!
Gift Card to a famous restaurant where they plan to travel
Sometimes the hardest part of traveling is picking where to eat. Help them out and pick a place that they would surely love!
